Cup Football

In England and Germany there were some important cup games in the last couple of days and both Blackburn and Nuremberg won through. Rovers beat Arsenal 1-0 at Ewood Park with an unbelievable Benni McCarthy strike to head into the FA Cup quarter final against Man City.
Meanwhile, FCN beat Hannover on penalties to reach the semi final of the German Pokal (Cup).

But of course! I am ecstatic. if you think about it this result makes Rovers the best team in Europe! Confused? Tis quite logical:

Barcelona are the current holders of the Champions league making them the best team in Europe.

Liverpool beat them a week or so ago meaning they are probably the best team in Europe.

Liverpool have been trounced by Arsenal a couple of times this season making Arsenal the top European club.

Blackburn have now beaten Arsenal, thus crowning them kings of europe.

Flawed I know, though please let me revel in this brief moment of success! x
