Der kleine Brueder ist da!
Little Stuart has safely touched down in Germany! Ian arrived on time on Tueday evening and was greeted by Norman and I at the airport. We then flew 'Norm Air' to the bowling place where he was introduced to some of the others. We then headed to the Wohnheim's Keller bar where we played poker and Ian sampled a little of the finest beer in world in the form of a Cola Weizen (Wheat beer mixed with coke, surprisingly good).
I had to work on Wednesday so I left Ian in the very capable hands of Norman, Helen and Maciek. They had a polish sausage and egg brunch which sounded delicious before Norm took Ian out to meet some of his German friends and then gave him a whistle stop tour of Nuremberg including of course the impressive Franken Stadion. I didn't get out of work until after 8.30 as I was wrapping up all the jobs before I went on holiday so Ian headed to a chinese restaraunt for his tea with Helen and Maciek. All in all it sounds like he had an excellent day without me!!
We then met up at the cool Star Club bar where we had a quiet drink and I grabbed a bite to eat. Was a most enjoyable evening and I think Ian was impressed that the waitress deemed him old enough to order a beer!
