die Maskotte (Mascots)
To keep me company on my lone trip to Germany I have brought with me two mascots to whom I must introduce you. The first is Philipe, a farewell gift from Bry. An inflatable ant, (die Ameise) he is both lightweight and good counsel. Alongside him I have the ever present Captain Fish who has guided me through stormy waters for some time. Often mistaken for a beaver, he is most definately an Otter (der Fischotter). Presented to me by the effervescent Dave Johnson, he has been a reliable sidekick for many years.
