Herr Mike in Deutschland

(I had some physio) Today I managed to book an appointment with a 'Krankenmasseur' (an Osteopath basically). I'm not sure if I have previously mentioned but my old knee injury has been giving me a bit of grief since I arrived, for no particular reason. This particular place had a cancellation so I left work early and got a bus into nearby Schallershof where I eventually found the place. It was nice, very clean and run with typical German precision. Unfortunately they didn't really speak English but I managed to explain the problem. Shortly after I was taken into a cubicle where a lady with a severe haircut told me to undress. She then proceeded to administer 15 minutes of gruelling pummeling to my poor knee as I recieved the most punishing massage of my life. If that doesn't knock it back into shape I don't know what will. I'm going back on Thursday morning for round two, wish me luck!
