Herr Mike in Deutschland

My name is Mike Stuart. Originally from Prescot, near Liverpool I am PR student at UCLan. This blog is a diary of my year long work placement during which I will be working in marketing communications for Siemens. I am based in Erlangen, near Nuremberg. My accommodation is a 9 story International Student Wohnheim, with 20 people on each floor from all over the world. Safely returned

Following a fleeting visit home for my Grandad's funeral I am now back in Erlangen and back in the office. It was good to see my family briefly, especially those from Scotland and London who I see very rarely, it's just a shame that it was under such circumstances.

The funeral was a really nice tribute to a great man and who we will all miss terribly.
